TV Times is free, with everything unlocked — no purchases, no limits, no ads. There is nothing to buy or restore.

Importing Your History

Coming from another tracking app? In Settings → Import, choose a data export (a folder of CSV files) from your previous app. Titles are matched to our catalog and added to your library — nothing you already have gets removed. If a file is too large or a title can't be matched, TV Times tells you exactly what was skipped.

Coming from TV Time?

TV Time shut down on July 15, 2026. If you exported your data before then — using TV Time's GDPR data export tool or the TV Time Out browser extension — you should have a ZIP file or folder of CSV files covering your shows, movies, and ratings. Unzip it if needed, then go to Settings → Import in TV Times and select that folder. It reads the same CSV format.

If you didn't get a chance to export before the shutdown, that data unfortunately can't be recovered — TV Time's own export tool went offline when the app closed, and we have no way to access it.

iCloud Backup

Your library snapshots automatically to your own iCloud Drive. To restore it on a new device, sign in with the same Apple ID and install TV Times — your library will restore when the app opens. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Where Show & Movie Data Comes From

Show and movie data — posters, episode guides, air dates, and streaming availability — is provided by TMDB (The Movie Database) through our own content network. No API key or account setup is needed. Your tracked library works offline; browsing and search need a connection.
